I find a lot of my stuff from Forever 21 seems to last me forever if I take good care of it. I still have stuff from 5 years ago that I can wear. And if I search hard enough, I can usually find a good piece for a good price. Great post, Nina!

today i learned another new thing from your blog: checked the quality of the fabric and must be satisfied with the way the garment is made.

i always never do that before purchasing any attire and usually throw many dresses away due to its poor quality. from now on, i swear on myself that i’m gonna be particular when it comes to buying clothes, no matter cheap skate items.

by the way, you look so different when you have your hair tied up like this, very refreshing look. you wore the faux fur well, i must say.

Unfortunately I don’t own ONE single item from F21 but I’m checking their page often and I’m surprised how many lovely items they offer!
I agree with you – and coming back to Hanh’s and my sadly not so good experience with the quality of Isabel Marant boots – I’m so happy with items I bought at Zara and Topshop. I’ve purchased a yellow large travel bag from Topshop made of the most amazing leather – it’s just awesome – and you would have never thought it’s Topshop.

it’s true about f21, there are hidden gems in there. i have a kimono from f21 that is easily over 6 years old, and i still get compliments on it whenever i wear it.

forever 21 is the bomb! i got a brocade leopard print coat last year & it still looks brand new. better quality than target stuff & often cheaper! you look great, btw…love that faux wrap!

I always wonder how come you own lots of nice real clothes and still shops at F21. I could never go back to such cheap clothes. You should know the difference between real & knockoff. Also i wouldn’t support F21 because of their company spirit. They’ve been sued million times for stealing design. When you buy $25 dress, you are supporting child labor and who knows what else?
Obviously you don’t really care those issues. Shame on someone who works in the industry and promotes fishy company.
