Áo Dài

March 11th, 2010 Nini 18 comments

I’m wearing a Vietnamese traditional gown called Ao Dai. It’s form fitted and worn over silk wide leg pant. The Ao Dai emphasizes a lady figure. People in Vietnam wear The Ao Dai everywhere, but here in the America you only seen them on special occasion such as wedding and church.   I bought this beautiful Ao Dai while I was in Vietnam. Loc and I both fell in love with it and will turn it to be my wedding gown. Have a fabulous day everyone !! xoxo Nini Nguyen

Hello guys-

I hope you all are doing well! I’m sorry for my absence, updates, and comments lately. With work and planning the wedding, my schedule is a little tight. My lifestyle now is just so casual. Tee-shirt, jeans and a comfortable flat are what I wear these days. I like to share with you my wedding photos from my photographer sent me to select for the album. These photos have not been edit yet, although it has a slightly retouch but not completed. I still have 3 more sets to go through and I’ll definitely will share with you all. xoxo Nini Nguyen

Writtenafterwards

January 29th, 2010 Nini 10 comments

I was flipping through Gap Press magazine – Tokyo/Madrid/Barcelona/Sao Paulo and Writtenafterwards got my attention. It’s so inspiring! The runway is so wicked and I love all the body draping, the crazy hair, senior man with a live cat. Absolutely love everything. Gap Press is my new favorite magazine. Its showing a lot of Japanese designers that I have not heard of before. I’m so glad to discover this new line!

Alongside all that, I also feel in love with g.v.g.v, Miharayasuhiro, Nozomi Ishiguro, and Amya Arzuaga. I think these are all pretty interesting and that so much great design is coming out of Japan right now… I’ll see if I can scan some photos to show you all. You can get Gap Press on magazinecafeny.com. Have a great weekend everyone!! xoxo Nini
