This is the top and it’s actually really long. The beading top part is perfect to tuck into a big circle skirt. Just picked up a copy of the Vogue Collection and I love how they have Freja Beha Erichsen all over the cover. LOVE HER!!!!!

I’m a huge fan of big circle skirt. I think it’s very lady-like, yet fun and playful. I’m wearing Nha Khanh skirt that she made for me for my birthday. The fabric of this skirt came from a 1940’s dress. I like the fabric, but not so much with the style so Nha Khanh helped me turned into a skirt. When you are out shopping for vintage, keep an eye out for the fabric texture as well. If you don’t like the style and the fabric is fabulous, you can change it into something else. If you’re looking for a unique fabric for decorative pillows, vintage fabric shopping is always fun. It’s cost saving and you will have one of a kind pieces that you will enjoy. Have fun with it and if you had any experience with it please share it with us. Thanks all for stop by and have a wonderful day. xoxo Nini

Wearing: Maison Martin Margiela bodysuit, Forever 21 short, vintage cape, and necklaces, Azzedine Alaia shoes.
I hope you all are well. I’m wearing my nude MMM bodysuit and the black F21 shorts again. This time I styled them with my vintage black/white checker cape. This is the second cape I own. I really like the way they lay on the body and how versatile they are. My closet is not that big and I love to buy things that I can mix and match with what I already own. That way I get every penny’s worth out of my purchases. Finding different ways of mixing your clothes can diversify the closet you already have! My blog is all about sharing my fashion tips. Any reader who uses my tips can see that if you shop wisely, you can save on some things and splurge on others. I learn new fashion tricks every day from you all and I hope that it is mutual. Have a great day everyone!!! xoxo Nini

Wearing: Calvin Klein swimsuit, vintage fox fur, AA tights, Janet Savitt necklace, YSL pumps
I hope that you all doing well! It has been awhile since we last shoot editorials. I’ve been wanting to do a shoot with swimwear mix with fur for along time in black and white. I’m a huge fan of black and white photography and it’s just really hard to capture it in digital because it doesn’t have the film like feeling. The kind of look I wanted is a little blurry and more of the mysterious side. Thanks to Loc for his Photoshop skill, I am able to get what I envisioned. I’m in the process of renovation of my closet and these series will be up on the wall with all different sizes in black/white frames. I hope you all having a great Easter Sunday and a wonderful week ahead of you. xoxo Nini Nguyen

The photo shoot we did in Vietnam was great but they didn’t take enough shots of us together. When we looked at the whole album together, we realized that the photos didn’t tell our story the way we had wanted. We decided to have our friend QC, who is a well known photographer in Dallas, retake them for us. This time the theme I came up for the shoot was play house. I wanted the shoot to be romantic, soft, and fun but editorial in a way that related to the things that we do daily in our life.
I will post the full series of the shoot later but here are some photos of us taken by QC of XO Photography. Isn’t he amazing?? And a huge thanks goes to our dear friend Susie who let us use the perfect place for the play house fantasy! xoxo Nini
