Bright blue is one of my favorite color. This color really enhance my olive skin tone. Can’t wait to wear this blue vintage dress again with a black long cashmere cardigan and some botties for fall.

Happy Sunday !!! xoxo – Nini Nguyen

Leather Leggings

November 29th, 2008 Nini 6 comments

Leather pants are quite body conscious, especially the leggings. The best bet is to wear them with something long that covers your backside. And leather pants and leggings look great with layers. Put them on with a long turtle-neck sweater paired with a fitted blazer and tie it all together with a pair of Christian Louboutin heels or a Givenchy booties. Leather pants also look fab with a dress over as seen on Posh. Leather legging looks really bad on my short leg so I’m going to try it with a volume dress over it.

Wishing everyone a happy holiday weekend. Xoxo – Nini

Horse Barn – Thanksgiving

November 27th, 2008 Nini 6 comments

Vintage dress, Jil Sander python shoes, Citizen of Humanity Jean, Donna Karen sweater.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I want take this opportunity to thank you for visiting my blog and supporting it.  I have been wanting to shoot at the barn and today was very beautiful day to do that.  I scramble through my closet and found this vintage dress that I see fit for the occassion. I bought this dress from couple months ago at Ahab Bowen, one of the best vintage shop in Dallas. I love the prints on this dress and it’s remind me of the Dries Van Noten Orbis prints from the  Fall 08’s collection.  I had on it with skinny jean, gray twisted sweater, and python shoe.   I had such a great time with my family and Loc’s family today.  I hope that you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!! Ann Demuelemeester Beads and Bound Spring 09

November 27th, 2008 Nini 2 comments

Ann Demeulemeester is a master worker and it shows in the Spring 2009 collection, taking black jackets and white shirts and adding in a cinch here,a billowing bit of volume there, is a prime example of how these simple pieces can provide a heady fashion experience. Layered, draped, and tied dresses provide alluring interest and for those that absolutely must have detail. These are some  of my favorite looks from her collection. It’s amazing!!!!!
