First Time Wearing The YSL Tribute Pump

February 24th, 2009 Nini Leave a comment Go to comments

This is my first time wearing this YSL tribute pump out to dinner with Loc. As tall as the shoes look, it actually comfortable to walk on compared to most of my lower heels.

I had on Doo.Ri dress, Juicy faux fur, Arden B necklace, Neiman Marcus gloves, and YSL platform tribute pump.

OMG just stumbled across your blog. I loooove it and you look simply stunning! I can’t imagine walking in thin high stilettos like that. I can only do a wedge or chunky heel. I cant believe they are comfortable!! Would love to trade links, love.

    Hi Nini,

I was wondering if you could tell me why some of the tributes have blue soles and some have yellow ones. Does it have anything to do with when they were manufactured or if certain styles go with certain color?. I like the mid-calf (tallest) version the best, and was hoping to find one with a blue sole, but so far I’ve only seen yellow. Thanks =)

I’m in love with your Doo.Ri dress! It’s absolutely gorgeous!!! :)
    xx

EMY- To my knowledge the blue sole came out after the yellow. The colors identify the season, YSL tribute start out with the yellow sole then follow with blue sole. I saw the tall boots in leather with regular sole but have not seen them in yellow or blue.

Lovely photo. I came across you blog during a search on YSL Tribute pumps. I have a torn knee ligament, so fabulous shoes such as these are no longer in my repertoir, but I still love to look. You wear them well, and your complete outfit is fabulous! Enjoy the shoes!

Do you find these shoes fit true to size? Or did you have to go a size up? And are they suuuuper-comfortable to walk in, or should I opt for the ankle strap version. Thanks! :)

Ok I know I’m super late on getting these, but they finally went on sale on the YSL website. As far as I know, they’re still hot and by looking at your outfits. I am contemplating on what size to get. Could you please tell me how they run? Are they true-to-size? How do they fite on you? Help! Lol. I really hope you respond.
