The weather in Dallas has been hot lately. It is perfect skirt weather! The key to making the summer-time pouf skirt fun (and flattering on your body) is to keep your ensemble simple. Wear it with a simple tank or a loose V-neck tee-shirt. Then add some lucite bangles and put on some heels or gladiator sandals and call it a day. If you’re 6 feet tall and weigh 105 pounds then of course you can mix a pouf skirt with anything and it’s still going to look great on you. But I’m talking about 5′3 – pear shape. Any body shape can be dressed fabulously and keeping your style simple when wearing a pouf skirt will help do just that. You really need to watch out for fashion accidents and be very choosy when looking for the right item to wear with your pouf skirt, because it’s all about balance.

We met up with Hanh and her husband yesterday for their anniversary celebration. All of us had such a wonderful time together.  Loc and I are still enjoying Las Vegas while it last. We’re coming back to Dallas tomorrow. Since tonight is our last night here, we’re going to see our last show at the MGM. With limited time I’m unable to write much, but I’ll tell much more when I get back to Dallas.

Dinner at Alex restaurant inside the Wynn hotel. I checked out all the boutiques while I was in there. The Dior Homme and the Alexander McQueen store are remarkable.

Before our trip I told Loc and my friend Korey Williams that I’m going to bring this Comme des Garcons silver collar with me for the trip. Both of their reactions was NOOOOOO. They said” Do not bring that silver thing, people on the street going to think that you’re the show girl walking around on her lunch break” LOL…. I think the silver CDG collar is perfect for Vegas !!!!!

Welcome Maison Martin Margiela nude bodysuit to the closet ( bought at Barneys New York in Las Vegas). I can wear it with many things in my closet. My next purchase would be the matching shoulder pad shrug.

Loc and I got here really early today. We left our belongings at the hotel and walk around the strip. Before I left, Hanh and all friends told me to bring flats for day time  because the cobblestone sidewalk is really hard to walk on.  I took their advice or else I would be limping somewhere on the street and still trying to find my way back to the hotel

We went to TAO for dinner. We didn’t enjoy it very much because the seating were so close to each other that we can’t hold the conversation. We literally had to yell to hear each other. Loc keeps blaming me for picking the place. You know how guys are!!!!
