Hi Guys-

I hope you all doing well. I’m so sorry for the lack of update. I have been so busy working and I promise I’ll post some photos of myself  soon ;)

Finally, I have Loc’s living room finished. The next room I’m going to work on is his bedroom. I’m going to work on it slowly on my day off and will keep you guys updated as I go.

Hey Nini, just discovered your blog and must say its great, you’ve got a great knack of compiling outfits around difficult pieces and pulling them off. Love the recent foray into interior design as well. I’ve just started a blog too, have a look and let me know what you think. Keep up the fantastic work!

What a nightmare. The ghost chair next to the elephant plant stand in front of the door… the Ikea rugs on the fireplace/seating area…the odd placement of the cows skull? There are so many things wrong with this room, but I do like the candle holders.

Great job with remodeling the house, I think if you add some colors to the wall like paint them with colors other than plain white right now, it’ll change the look even more dramatically.

  20. August 13th, 2009 at 10:05 | #20

Wow Nini. You did a great job with Loc’s place. I’m very impressed. It looks amazing. If I didn’t know you were a fashion consultant, I would think your day job was an interior designer. Looks fabulous and stylish, much like yourself.

    All the best,
    Carrie

    Hiiiii Niniiii ;)
How sweet you are!!! Thanks for your lovely comment!
Took me directly to your blog … and trara… you have a new post.
I checked earlier this week and now… I´m too late ;)

I truly can imagine how much time it must have taken for you to decorate Loc´s house!
(Still have here some picture frames… bought last Dec!!! ;) … and they are still not at the wall)
I remember the fireplace from a photo you did earlier this year, beautiful!!!!

Had to smile about the photo at the wall. so lovely to see you´re a part of Loc´s family!!!
I hope this is you ;) … Otherwise Loc has a supersweet sister ;)

    Have a beautiful day!!!

  22. August 13th, 2009 at 12:51 | #22

Love the chandelier! Most of all- I love the family photo! Reminds me of my own family photo at home in California :) We’re all kind of nervously smiling and wearing dark clothing we would normally wear to church!

  23. August 13th, 2009 at 13:12 | #23

i like how contemporary and with a modern twist this whole room look (maybe its the tiger-skin cushions and the rug-like mat as well as the chandelier doing those tricks to my eyes. i like how the speakers are hang on the walls as this really create that home-entertainment-system-3D-surround-sound (am i making sense here??).

Are you sure that you’re renovating his house for the sake of him or you? No manly appeal to eat at all. Looks like an animal fur show.

Love love love it! I think I love interior design even more than fashion, and keep meaning to start my ‘lifestylelondon’ blog – not enough time yet!
I love how his living room is now an extension of your own style. I can really see your look in it. Hey! Can you do a photo shoot of you in your fabulous black/white/neutral clothes, IN the room? Lounging on the couch? Perhaps wearing something like a leopard print scarf, or some kind of tribal accessories?
Having a lovely day on holiday on the Fork, thanks, and hope you are, too!
    xoxo
