Tightrope

Hi everyone-
I hope you are all doing great. One of the top essentials for Fall are tights. It will be freezing outside and you do not want to be walking around with a cashmere sweater dress and bare legs!
I love wearing tights with sweater dresses and short skirts. Tights are a nice way to finish off an outfit and add a touch of warmth. Part of being stylish or well put together is dressing for the weather. Whatever you wear, you have to be comfortable and being cold is not often comfortable. There is nothing worse than a chic outfit ruined by goose bumps on the arms or legs! To complete my winter outfits, I have two options that are my go-to fashion favorites for winter. My favorite tights are made by SPANX. They are called reversible tights because one side is black and the other side is brown. They are so thick and yet you can machine wash them. I love wearing my Spanx tights for day time because it’s easy, simple and chic. But when it comes to night time I like to wear my Wolford velvet black tights. They are lightweight and sexier than a regular pair of tights. Wolford tights are also great for a
special occasion. If you haven’t been to their store, GO! Every glam closet needs a pair of Wolford’s. I like to keep my tights simple so I normally only buy them in black and brown and mix those two colors up with my wardrobe.

Have a nice day everyone !!! xoxo Nini Nguyen

    LOVE the neckpiece!

I need tights too, and now that is over 100 Fahrenheit I am trying to find a lightweight version (leggings mostly), so I can still wear dresses without showing my legs…But am hoping to travel to Wintry Japan in December, so am eyeing some Falke in Soft Merino…they feel so soft…xx

Wow cute outfit – I love your shoes! I don’t wear tights haha but I can imagine them doing wonders for ladies in the winter!

  38. November 12th, 2009 at 05:43 | #38

I really like the way your covering tights tend to emphasize your bare shoulders/arms’ Sensuality, AND the way the “leggylicious” close-up on your Shoes sounds as pretty as “Fetishistic” ( OOoooh YES “pretty high-arched feet on classy/arrogant fineries = Bewitching effect highly guaranteed”) !!!
ps: You’re simply Astonishing on the penultimate picture, full of sweet charisma.
RE-ps: I wish you a Nice day too Dear Nini.

i like your work however its really unoriginal! you know that its not always about the brand name or the cost of your clothes. Very unoriginal style, please stop taking inspirations from other blogs! its very annoying.

Sorry I’ve to disagree with you Anna… I’ve been visiting this site for years and of course the other blogs/streetstyle sites as well, I think honestly Nini’s style is impressive and unique, at least I don’t see her wearing the major black style/fashion editor style that many so-called fashionistas are wearing. Her snaps are still very her, i.e. very NIni and original.

    Have a nice day,

I think you posted that on the wrong blog hunnie. I have followed Nini for awhile now and her style is very unique. She doesn’t wear all designers. If you know Nini, she likes to mix vintage pieces with her designer pieces a lot!

    Hi Nini!
    How are you doing?
Can´t believe I already missed your fabulous last post..

Your vintage pieces are amazing. The color of the skirt so eyecatching. Same to your va-va-voom necklace.
And now… I have to find reversible thights! Didn´t know something like tis exists ;)

    HAPPY SUNNY THURSDAY, NINI.
And a little hug to Duckie;)

  46. November 13th, 2009 at 16:35 | #46

Wow, how’d I miss this post? One colour combination I love more than anything is turquoise and brown, with the whole range of variations. Gorgeous shots, esp. the one of you bending over the fountain/waterfall. Where was that shot?

I have a Danish friend, Janet, who used to work in Harrod’s hosiery dept when she first moved to London, and was educating me about Wolford tights. And I’ve yet to treat myself! I love the idea of the reversable ones. It’s funny to think that you can still dress this light this type of year!

Have a lovely weekend Nini! xox
