A Day In Soho
September 16th, 2009
Hanh and I spent a day in Soho today. We went to Topshop to see what all the fuss was about but we didn’t find anything there! Everything seemed to be totally over priced. We had a perfect lunch at Balthazar. Then we continued the afternoon with more shopping at Resurrection, Ina, and Kirna Zabete. We found some fabulous things that I will share with you guys later. We ended our day at Barbounia for dinner with Lynn, and Thumbelina Fashionista. We had a wonderful time. We’re going to see the Naeem Khan show tomorrow and head home on Friday. I have tons of photos to share. I’ll post them up when I get home. xoxox Nini

Too bad about Topshop, I’ve heard so much about it but never been. Everything about this outfit is amazing, especially the jacket!
There is absolutely NOTHING bad about this outfit, but that MMM bodysuit must have been one of the best purchases ever, huh? It looks AMAZING! Every time you wear it i’m bowled over! It is fantastic, and especially with all black like this, it just pops! What an amazing piece.
Love that jacket! Love Balthazar too! Their creme brulee…yum!
xx
Hi Nini! You are right about the TopShop. The reason I don’t go there much is because I don’t think the quality and price tags match well… And their shoes aren’t comfortable to wear at all. Still, it’s nice that you are having such a great time in NY. You look gorgeous and I adore your shoes! x
Aahh Nini, I really really like this look on you. I love everything about it. And the MMM bodysuit still amazes me. Such a great investment. It goes with everything. I think so far this is my fave outfit of yours.
amazing dolce!!

I’ve been at TOPSHOP in NY in July and only bought a sequin vest. You look gorgeous as always;)

great outfit ! I love your MMM bodysuit !
Good morning to you and Hanh in NYC!!!
What a gorgeous outfit to conquer the big apple! Ann D. is always a great choice!
I try to imagine HOW many people are looking at your top quite irritated…. 😉
I’ve already written to Hanh – you’re both looking like you’ve walked the streets of Manhattan always. Hanh looks like a catched celebrety on one of her pictures, suddenly surpised by a paparazzi! I have so much fun looking at your pictures! Thanks so much for taking us with you on your journey and all the exciting places and people <3 <3 <3
Enjoy the day in NYC!!
big kiss and much love

hi nini!
i love this candid-like photos of you!
it’s so cool!
wow, i can’t imagine myself wearing high heels
and do a lot of walking around.
are those givenchy boots comfortable for walking?
enjoy the rest of your days.
take care!
Hi Nini!
I tried to shop at Topshop in Barcelona but unfortunately didn´t find the time. Guess the prices in Dollar are more overpriced than here in Europe for their pieces.
Hanh and you rock Soho in your gorgeous outfits!!
The more I see these stunning Givenchy heels the more I wish to get them, too 😉
Love everything about open-toe booties and these are spectacular!!
Say a warm hello to Hanh and enjoy the last day of NY Fashion Week!!!!
Hugs & Kisses…
cool! whenever i look online im not impressed by anything i see @ topshop either.
You look amazing Nini. I love your sunglasses. Is it new? Have fun on the rest of your trip.

hey nini love ur blog..my name is anna im from cyprus..thats how far ur reputation has come =) love ur taste on labels..check out my blog is new much more to come.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
This is such an incredible look! I absolutely love New York, and this is a perfect example why. Your heels look great with that outfit, and I agree with everyone else regarding the bodysuit. It’s the most eye-catching part of the entire outfit!
Ahh Topshop, definitely overrated, although I’ve only been to the ones in Asia. Your MMM bodysuit never ceases to amaze me, and the black layering on to is perfection. Looking forward to more of your photos in the next post!
Hey Nini I’m doing good! Thanks for your comment again 😀
Um… what my comment refers to your look on 15/09 is, as your MMM bodysuit and dress already created a voluminous silhouette, therefore in my point of view it is better not to wear a sunglasses to distract the outfits (as your glasses really distract it when I first looked at your snaps :P), but if you really need to wear glasses I prefer the MMM Incognito series as the avant-garde shape echoes with the outfits perfectly, other than MMM I can think nothing anymore 😛
In the other hand, that kind of “normal” or less avant-garde shape sunglasses work pretty well on Hanh’s less-voluminous outfit.
But all I need to say is that I strongly believe you have stronger fashion knowledge and styling techniques than me, so I’m one who need your opinion haha~
Have a nice day too Nini
xoxo, Patrick
Lovely outfit, Nini!! Can’t wait to hear about your lunch with Lynn and Thumbelina!
Don’t worry about the earrings. You can send it anytime you’re back and when you’re not as busy anymore. And thanks again for it!! You guys have a safe flight back to TX! =)
wow, simply gorgeous. great quirkiness.
Hi super fashionable Nini! Love looking at your NYFW pics…so exciting and you girls are gorgeous!
And would love to read your post about your dinner with lovely girls Lynn and Thumbelina!
Get home safely!
The bodysuit is a crazy design, but it works! I love the Givenchy shoes, they are definitely head-turners!
So fun, darling! You look fabulous!
