Nini, I would rather not see the Ten worst blogs. This is a friendly blog. Taste is subjective anyway.

I really want to see fashion, and style. I am not interested in trends, but in how people put things together.

I have been wanting to see closets lately. It would be nice to see how different people creatively store their clothes.

I love this whole look- so brilliantly put together! Could I have EVER thought of this combo? No. You’re an original!!
And I completely agree with the above- I’d LOVE to see different people’s closets. Or ways of arranging your closet/jewelry/shoes. I am pretty anal about it, but I’m always interested to see/hear about others’ methods.

Please DONT do the 10 worst blogs. how would you feel if some one put your on their list? although that wouldnt happen because your blog is AWESOME :)leaving them off of your top10 list would be like saying they are bad without being explicitly mean.

I grew up knowing the saying “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”… like, who are we to judge? Unless you’re Simon Cowell and you’re on American Idol… LOL

Hi Nini, I adore polka dot tights! I think it depends on what the ‘worst’ things would be, if it is humourous like 10 worst shoes in history, or something like that could be funny. But if its is blogs, outfits or anything personnal I dont think that would be appropriate. Stick to the positive, sweet girl you are xx

I think people view your blog because your a sweet girl and I would think you want to preserve that Image. Attracting negative attention will draw the main focus away from the main topic of your blog FASHION. The blog world is already competitive enough as it is. The concern over who has the latest ‘IT’ item or the fattest closet. Stray away from that drama and continue what your doing. We already have enough negativity let’s just try to stay positive. We like your blog as is, but adding a weekly 10 is a good idea.

I agree – this is a friendly and positive blog and it wouldn’t fit to our picture of Nini – but since you’re having the privilege of a talented guest writer like Natalya with her own ideas and fresh mind – why not.
Your view would be of interest to me.

You brought up a “male blogger theme” – they wouldn’t have any problem to bring up the ten worst blogs and would say – sure, show them!
But as this is a female blog about a personal thing like fashion we are more about harmony and happy friendly socialising.

A good(!) and constructive(!) critic is also a chance to improve and to help us to become better of what we are.
I don’t believe you would create a WORSE list just to elevate yourself about others.

And since Natalya showed us her 10 Yin blogs it would be interesting to see her ten Yang blogs.

At least I could tell her that I not agree with her – right?

I think a Worst Ten list would be a step backwards in the progression of your blog, I don’t think any of us are qualified to judge other people negatively. Also remember that a lot of bloggers, especially fashion bloggers, are young and still feeling around for their style, not everyone has reached that level of comfort with their personal style as you have.

Since you asked … Personally, I think any kind of a “worst” list sets a very bad direction for your blog (for anyone’s blog, actually). Style is *very* subjective. I believe there is no such thing as bad style, just style that may be different than mine. I do not think there is any way to do such a list without hurting feelings and like one of the other commenters says, “How would you feel?”

I, like you, am truly fortunate to have an amazing closet. This does not make me better than anyone else, nor does it put me in a position to judge others.

Remember, there is no bad fashion, just a difference of opinion.

I love love love yr blog! I am not sure how I feel about a worst list as what I love so much about you (other than yr amazing style) is that everything you write is so positive!

I definitely agree w/ everyone else – I think have a top 10 worst blog would not only be hurtful, but change the tone of your blog which is positive & fun.

I LOVE the closets idea – living in manhattan and being in fashion – i am always having a tricky time organizing my closet – especially with such limited space. I always love it when celebrities such as Olivia Palermo or Rachel Zoe show pictures of their closets. It gives me inspiration/ideas.

Top worst is a horrible idea! Ninistyle has always been such a positive blog, and you seem very gracious for your readers. It would be sad if that were to change.

Starting a fashion blog can be intimidating, and I think anyone who is gutsy enough to try should be encouraged not put down. People don’t have to visit their blogs, but putting them on blast is so “mean girls” :T

Also, I think people would rather find and indulge in good fashion blogs, not bad ones!
