I would wear all three pieces together. The usually summery denim shorts are toughened for winter because the thin leather. The shorts also show a bit of skin that the waistcoat covers in the back. I would wear it with my favorite fitted white button-down. The blue tips on the boots bring the blue in the shorts out and the leather lapels, shorts, and boots give the outfit cohesion.

I love this look because its classy, feminine, and unique. I would tuck the Giambattista Valli top into the beautiful A. Wang sequined skirt and pair that look with the tights, booties, and the cute notebook clutch. It’s such a great look for a fashionable night out!

I love the idea of layering the asymmetrical cropped pullover over the Draped front top and pairing it with the fitted mini skirt with tailcoats. Add some chunky jewelery and a pair of ankle boots as well as the tote bag for a pop of color and it’s something I could totally see myself wearing.

I’m a mama and student—I’m overworked and poor!
Shopping is something that I indulge in no more.

In days long past, I just LOVED to shop,
But it’s been months upon months since I’ve purchased a new pair of shoes or, even, a top!

Worst of all, it’s my once fashionable closet that’s taken the hit.
In fact, I’ve done something oh so terrible that I’m too ashamed to admit!

It was a drastic and desperate measure that I reluctantly took…
When I sold my most luxurious handbag to pay for book upon book!

Selling my beloved earned me a tiny bit o’ cash…
But then a wave of depression rolled in with a flash!

I’m sad to say that fashionable is now what I’m not…
But let me tell you, I still know that Alexander Wang is super smokin’ hot!

His attention to detail is 100% first class…
And every design shows a whole lotta sass!

With subdued colors and crisp, clean lines,
I desperately want to call his breathtaking creations mine!

But, in the end, when push comes to shove…
It’s really the unconventionality of Mr. Wang’s designs that I so love!

Hi Nini! I’m a huge fan of Alex Wang – I especially love his T line for basics, and his main line dresses are always perfect for parties – and of Shopbop, which coincidentally always has an amazing selection of Alexander Wang. For this look, I chose the New Goddess Long Sleeve Dress with Corset, which would be a standout addition to any evening wardrobe. I accessorized it with the jaw-dropping Dree Fringe Sandals, also from Shopbop. An amazing pair of Ranjana Khan statement earrings (4.5 inches of hand-sewn crystals on leather!) and a Sang A lizard clutch from Kirna Zabete complete the ensemble by adding a personal exotic/feminine touch.
