I had been under the weather for the last couple of days.  It was bad but nice at the same time because I had sometime to catch up with listing many great items for Timeless CHIC.

Pearls are my birthstone and velvet is a direct translation of  my Vietnamese name, Nhung.  Thus,  naturally why I love the combination of pearls and velvet together so much.  When I saw this Alexander Wang jacket at Neiman Marcus Last Call,  I knew it for meant for me.  I got it for like 90% off :-). It’s my new obsession. I love dressing it casually with jeans and tee’s.  I’m planning to dress it up with dresses and heels to an upcoming event as well.

    Hi Nini,

    I love that you still look gorg in heels or sneakers! I recently purchased a pair of high tops too. How would you recommend styling them on a petite frame to avoid looking stumpy and still have that punk rock vibe?
