Happy Lunar New Year. This is a year of the water dragon. The Dragon is a beautiful creature, colorful and flamboyant. They are powerful and fearless, self-assured and brave.  I hope this year will bring you all the success that you are wishing for, with great health, more power and self confidence. Lucky me. 60% of my closet consists of black and white!

I love pairing black and white together. It’s one ensemble that I will never  tire of. Its powerful, effortless, classic and fresh. And all you need to wear with this classic combo is some fabulous jewelry and great shoes. I make my black and white pop with red because wearing red on New Years is supposed to bring you luck.

Note: if you are bottom heavy and have a small waist try to stay away from white bottoms with black tops because that will accentuate that area even more. Try black bottoms and white tops instead because a white top will always show off your curves and black is always slimming. Black will make you look taller as well.
