ABOUT NINI
Nini Nguyen is a fashion stylist, and the visionary voice behind NiniStyle.net. Her love and passion of fashionable and chic individuality is undeniably exuded through her natural talent to envision how clothes should lay and enhance a woman’s body. She understands a woman’s figure and is able to select pieces that highlight their best features. She believes that a woman will have utmost confidence when they fell raw and tough with a touch of elegance.
With over thirteen years of experience in the dynamic industry, Nini started out at Banana Republic and Neiman Marcus, and eventually advanced to Oscar de la Renta and Barneys New York as their fashion consultant. With a background in fashion and avid enthusiasm for art, finding her own sense of style was second nature to Nini. She recalls, “At an early age when I had a party to attend, I couldn’t afford things that appealed to me. So I just used what I had in my closet and cut, re-constructed and draped it into something more interesting. I remember showing up at an event wearing bright orange polka dot pants, a cut out white jersey tunic and over-sized bright orange clutch that was a gift with purchase which came with a bottle of Christian Dior perfume. My hair was all big and teased up like a bird nest. And everybody was staring. That was priceless”.
Her philosophy is that anyone can look like a million without spending a million and believes in buying less but investing in quality pieces that will last forever. She believes that beautiful, well made items can enhance a wardrobe from season to season: it is timeless. She loves mixing high-end designer items with lower-end and fun seasonal trends with collectible vintage finds. “It’s not what you wear but how you wear it”.
Keep strong! We’re all mourning together with Duckgy 😉

This is really inspirational. Soon I’ll be graduating so I have to learn to save. There are so many things I would love to buy but I can’t. I always change up, alter and change my outfits and clothing to make them stand out. I love making a vintage shirt look like its straight of the runway.

It is nice to know your blog.
Hi Nini,
Hope all is well. My name is Danielle Brown and and I absolutely love your blog. I love how you are so informative on your blog…not to mention your style is absolutely engaging, colorful, addictive…just flawless! I am currently a student at Rider University and eventually I want to start my own style blog and eventually become a wardrobe stylist and I would love to learn from you and take advice from the best. For my senior seminar class I have to conduct an interview with someone who does what I eventually want to do, and you’re perfect for this assignment. The interview won’t be anything extensive; 6-8 short-answer questions will do.
Please tell me if this is something you would be interested in helping me out with. My deadline is March 20th.
Thanks for your time and consideration,
Danielle Brown

I’m dying to buy a Chanel while in Paris and someone told me about the Paris Flea Market’s and how they have Chanel. I didn’t believe them and when I googled it your post on Paris Flea Markets came up. Since then I think I have read everyone one of your posts and follow you on instagram! I love your style and especially your XL Jumbo Lambskin
