Loc and I attended the annual Art Ball event last night as guests of BMW of Plano that benefits the Dallas Museum of Art. I’m very honor to be one of the Jetsetters for this year’s event. I donated the NINI hot pink circle dress and $1,000 NINI STYLE gift certificate for the silent auction and super excited that bid went for twice the value!
I’m wearing my new NINI black lace backless aodai. I love wearing the Vietnamese traditional aodai inspired styles to evening events as it has a glamorous, elegance, and timeless look to it.
With my NINI hot pink circle dress. I’ll offer it soon on this blog. Wearing Moo Roo ostrich feathers bag
Got max bid on the silent auction. I’m just so happy that the money went to such a wonderful cause.

I had a few events this month and my NINI pants had saved me. I had it made to go with my black velvet aodai and but I wore it twice to two different events with different tops. I’m thinking of making them in nude, gold and silver since I find them to be very useful.
Wore Tao by Comme des Garcons sweater, vintage 50’s earrings and pin to Art Ball Patron party that hosted by my friend Sheryl Maas in her beautiful home.

This is the jacket that I designed for DIFFA that was auction off to benefit AIDS & ART. It made out of Chanel’s tweed with butterflies all over the back. I’m very honored to be a part of such great cause.
We did lots of activities on the trip that include kayaking and snorkeling which we love the most. Loc captured some of these photos for me at a private island in the Bahamas before heading out to snorkeling.

Sorry for the lack of updates as Loc’s friends and I were celebrating his big 30th birthday. We were in New Orleans, Miami, and then took off on a cruise to the Bahamas. The trip were filled with lots of love, laughter, and great memories. Loc captured some photos of me wearing one of my new designs while the sun was coming down.

One of the trends for Spring 2012 that I’m really into is pajamas as day wear. This isn’t a new trend, it was huge in the 1920’s and it has been getting some fashionable attention for the past year or two. Right now, I’m loving printed pajamas pants. They’re so just so fun & comfortable. They’re perfect to lounge around the house in but they are also great dressed up for an outdoor patio lunch. Since pajama pants are loose & silky, it would be more sophisticated if you paired them back with something more structured on top.
If this is your first time trying out pajamas pants I wouldn’t suggest buying an expensive pair. You can purchase something that looks good and is well priced from H & M, Topshop, ASOS, F21 and Zara. Then, if you fall in love with the silhouette, you can purchase a more expensive pair. I’m wearing my pajama pants from F21. I rolled the hem up two times to create a sporty look.
These bangles I’m wearing are also from F21. They’re really well made and look like they’re hand painted.
Wearing: F21 pants ( I found it in the store last week but couldn’t find it online but similar here ), Versace top, Comme des Garcons soccer ball jacket, F21 floral bracelet, Christian Louboutin’s Pigalle paint-splatter pumps, Prada bag
