Loc and I attended The Unicef Dallas Experience this Friday and this is what I wore. The dress is another purchase from ASOS. I love a classic dress with a great print. I’m just a huge fan of mixing high and low end items together. My favorite thing about this dress is that it is super multi-purpose. This dress is wonderful for going out. But it is also perfect for the office paired with a blazer or cardigan.
Again, I ordered this dress in size 4 US, just a tad to large. I don’t like when things are too tight on me.
Most of the time i do my own nails. It’s super easy and fun. And this is something new that I’m trying out and really love. Here is what I use and how to apply it:
-Paint your nails with your color of choice. I have on Essie nail polish in Mint Candy Apple
-Use a brush and add slowly by dabbing big chunky glitter on the tips of your nails ( I use Essie “luxeffects” ). Then apply it with a top coat.
I ordered a few things from ASOS last week for the first time and I’m really happy with their quality. I wore this dress out to dinner with Loc. It’s really comfortable and I feel great in it. The silhouette of this dress is classic, flattering, sexy and helps elongate the body.
This dress has stretch and the size I ordered is a 4. Here is link to the dress. If you’re ordering, try to double check the measurements to get the right size. It is better to go up a size on this dress not down. You don’t want it too tight and clingy on your body.
And I’m also welcoming the Daffodile to the shoe family. I have been wanting these shoes for a while now since I wear my black pair, Lady Daf, so much. They are such a great classic.

Hello everyone!! I hope you are all well! I wanted to share with you something that means a lot to me. Millions of people out there are suffering from cancer: when one person is diagnosed, it affects all of their family and friends. It is a painful but truly powerful ripple effect and anything that anyone can do to help ease suffering is always important. I was contacted a few weeks ago by Jackie, who does outreach for the Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance. They are a leading web resource for mesothelioma cancer. Jackie wanted to see if she could share one of her entries on Nini’s Style. Her goal is to help the ladies out there that are going through chemo to understand that they can still look good and feel good about their appearance. I immediately said yes to her and was only happy to help.
You Can Use Fashion to Help You Feel Better About Cancer
By: Jackie Clark
Being diagnosed with mesothelioma or breast cancer may not be how you thought your life would turn out. Of course, this doesn’t mean it is the end of the world. Going through treatment may be both painful and tiring. It may take its toll on your overall well being and physical appearance as well, making you feel as if you are only a mere shadow of your former self. This doesn’t have to be the case for you. If you have the energy to make it to treatment or to see your specialist, you have the energy to take pride in how you look.
Using fashion to help keep you looking radiant on the outside can be beneficial when it comes to overcoming how you feel on the inside. Wearing fashionable clothing in beautiful colors that complements your body shape and size as well as great looking shoes can help change your outlook on life.
You may be diagnosed with cancer, but your life is not over yet. It has only begun a new chapter. When you start to see how good you look by taking care of yourself and dressing fashionably, you may feel more hope that things will get better when it comes to your diagnosis. Perhaps your friends and family start noticing how much better you look and compliment you. This cannot only make you feel better but it may even make you beam.
Feeling strong and confident can make any prognosis feel as if it is only a matter of time before it passes and you are cured. You don’t have to let your diagnosis make you feel as if you aren’t worth taking care of. On the contrary, you are every bit as worth it as anyone else and you deserve to look and feel your best.
Wearing fashionable, stylish clothing and shoes makes you feel as if you are still in and part of the world. Not only are you part of the world, but also you are a trendsetter, someone people would look up to when it comes to dressing beautifully. Fashion can do wonders for your self-esteem and confidence makes you forget everything else that is going on in your life.

I picked up these polka dots wide legged pants last week at Forever21 and wore it out to dinner last night with my friend. Forever21 is a hit or miss because their inventory is overflow with many items and you just need to know what you are looking for before you go in there. When I do find something I like, I always look for the stitches and feel the quality of the fabric to make sure that they well made before I try them on. These pants came with two little silly front pockets which I didn’t like. Thus, I decided to carefully remove them with a small scissor. To ensure that the stitches hole are not visible you can dab some water and iron it out. You can check out Forever21’s website and look under pants to see this pants and others. Have a wonderful weekend everyone! xoxo Nini
