Wearing bright colors for summer is just an easy way to lift your mood. One of the most famous trends this summer is color blocking. It has been around for awhile but this season, it is everywhere. Color blocking can be a little challenging in terms of color coordinating but it’s a trend that everyone should try at least once. Florals jeans and neon jeans are great to wear right now and the safest way to wear them is put on a clean white tops that suits your body shape well. The reason I say white tops is that it will be a central item to calm and balance out all the bright colors while helping elongate your body. In the summer I find this especially useful for color blocking. For shoes, you always can wear any neon thong sandals for a casual day or a pair of neon pumps for a dressier occasion. And don’t forget the final touch to complete the color blocking trend is a pair of statement earrings or a chunky necklace. I wore this look out to work and to my meeting this week. Have a creative Sunday ;-)) xoxo Nini
Who would think zebra print from head to toe could look this chic? This is the second jumpsuit that I have ever owned. When I first saw this jumpsuit at Zara I was a little hesitant to buy it. I was not sure if it would be too much print on the body and I was afraid that it would be a one-time-wear kind of item. Luckily I was with my friend and a second opinion is always helpful when you are hesitant about buying something. I tried it on at home and ended up loving it! The thing I love most about this jumpsuit that it elongates the body. Jumpsuits are in and out of season constantly. This loud print is a wonderful addition to a summer wardrobe. This jumpsuit was a few inches too long on me and instead of taking it to my tailor to hem it up I decides to take it up from the straps myself. It saved me a trip to my tailor and $20.00.
Since the jumpsuit is already so busy, I go really clean on the jewlery and accessories. I also love to shop for vintage jumpsuits. Jumpsuits are a great way to stand out at any event. But I do keep in mind that the loud prints are a seasonal thing and I always try not to spend too much money on it. Thanks for reading everyone and have a lovely day! xo Nini
We were truly blessed to experience such a wonderful view of Manhattan from the Hudson River off of a boat owned by our lovely friends. The weather that day was in the 70F and a little colorful, lightweight sweater with leather leggings was perfect. My New York trip with Loc was eye opening for me. I have visited NYC quiet often but this trip was a completely different experience…I finally got deeper into exploring NYC and felt a true connection to the culture and the beauty of the city of all the history behind it. I hope you enjoy the photos and thank you so much for reading my blog

Hello to you all from NYC! I arrived in my favorite city a few days ago and I’m so excited to be back. New York is full of inspiration. The city that never sleeps is so full of energy & different styles, personalities and characters. I love NYC for other reasons as well: I love the museums here and I love the food. And of course….who can skip a little shopping in NYC!? I have a few boutiques that are on my ‘Must Visit List’ that I absolutely love. Every time I come here I make a stop at each one to peek around and do a little damage and I would love to share the list with all my fancy readers.
1. Y-3: A great place to find interesting and unique tailoring. You get the Yohji Yamamoto vibe without breaking the bank (it is his diffusion line). The clothes are really unique and store will blow your mind away. 92 Greene St ( Soho )
2. IF: Has a full arrangement of all the Japanese designers and a wonderful selection of Ann Demeumeester and Margiela. The clothes you find here are really difficult to find anywhere else. 94 Grand St ( Soho )
3. Resurrection: a high-end vintage store that is well edited. If you want to find a one-of-a-kind dress then this would be the place for you. 217 Mott St ( Nolita )
4. INA: It’s a second hand store with amazing gems. I love coming here because you always find great deals on designer labels. 21 Prince St
5. And of course I have to stop by to look at shoes at Bergdorf Goodman. Ask for my guy Eddie. He’s helpful and super efficient.
And if I have extra time I like to visit the boutiques of my favorite designers: Comme des Garçons, Margiela and Rick Owens.
I hope you will find this helpful. And if you have any stores to add, leave the name and description in the comments. Thanks for reading everyone and have a lovely day xo Nini

On my last trip to Paris I wanted to visit the Luxembourg Garden but didn’t get a chance to do it. This time I was not leaving Paris unless I got to see the beautiful garden. It’s the second largest public garden in Paris and it absolutely took my breath away.
After the garden, we walked down to St Germain des Pres for lunch. St Germain des Pres is located on the Left Bank. I always think of the Left Bank as the place to find the most authentic French restaurants and where the locals are eating. Also it’s a great place for just walking around and discovering little shops for souvenirs and stationary. Many high-end boutiques are located on the left bank including Hermes, Isabel Marant, Christian Louboutin, Margiela, Celine, Louis Vuitton and more.
St Germain des Pres also reminds me a little of Le Marais. We also spent a day there and loved it. If you are in Le Marais, you have to stop by the Azzedine Alaia outlet. Everything in there is 60%-70% off. Also, you must go to Merci. It’s a unique boutique that carries anything from painter tape, pens, flowers, silverware, clothing and accessories…they also have a wonderful restaurant! The store is reflective of typical Parisian elegance. They have some of my favorite designers like Isabel Marant, Paul & Joe and Roseanna. Here are some photos from the trip. Enjoy
