Since I use my Chanel 2.55 XL Jumbo every single day for work, I have decided to invest in the classic double flap bag. I love it for many reasons but the bag’s timelessness, value and super multi-functionality are at the top of the list.  This is a timeless piece that will last forever. It holds value pretty well compared to other designer bags. This is important if i ever decide to resell it. And the best part: it goes with anything in your closet!!! It is wonderful with dresses for a night out and it works in a more casual look with jeans, T’s and high-tops.

Again, I picked lamb skin over caviar. I know many people prefer caviar because it seems more durable. But I just love how soft the leather looks and feels on the lamb skin. I know many people have a tough time deciding between gold or silver hardware. I would suggest that you go with whatever matches your jewelry more. Most of my jewelry is gold so I picked the gold hardware. I also think the gold has a vintage feel to it. What do you guys think?

I’m wearing one of my own designs. It’s a very special piece that I recently created for my capsule collection. It was inspired by the Vietnamese Aodai, that I so adore! It’s structured, yet the high slits make it very sexy. That’s what most women want in their closet……something tough and seductive at the same time. It’s also very effortless!!!

I had been under the weather for the last couple of days.  It was bad but nice at the same time because I had sometime to catch up with listing many great items for Timeless CHIC.

Pearls are my birthstone and velvet is a direct translation of  my Vietnamese name, Nhung.  Thus,  naturally why I love the combination of pearls and velvet together so much.  When I saw this Alexander Wang jacket at Neiman Marcus Last Call,  I knew it for meant for me.  I got it for like 90% off :-). It’s my new obsession. I love dressing it casually with jeans and tee’s.  I’m planning to dress it up with dresses and heels to an upcoming event as well.

I was going through my photos and found this set from Cabo.  Loc did a great job with the photos that I just have to share them.  I have been obsessed with fitness lately. I always thought that I would never need  to work out because most people say that I am skinny and ask me why I would need to work out.   I was advised by a dear friend of mine  that fitness is not just about the exterior that we gain from it but above all is for a healthy mind and heart.     I decided to listen to her because she and her husband is the living proof.   Not only they look amazing for their age (you can’t guess their age), but their heart and mind is always positive toward life and others.  Only after a couple of months of working out,  I can tell you that it definitely keeps you fresh and have a positive way of thinking at all time.  It  also helps with reducing stress and sleeping better, which  results in  more energy for the day.  Thus, I have decided to take a step further by going with a trainer to improve my current level.    I’m looking forward to gain a few pounds of muscle here and there in the next few months.  Wish me luck!    I recommend everyone at all ages that can spare 1 hour a day to start working out if not yet done so.  It will improve your life in many ways!  Have a lovely day! xoxo Nini Nguyen
