Loc and I just arrived to Santa Monica for work this week. The weather here is absolutely gorgeous!! Perfect to break out for my long-love Balenciaga motorcycle leather jacket 😉
Hi everyone, I hope you are all well. I’m sorry for being behind on new entries! I’ve been so busy with work that didn’t even have a second to do it. I’m so happy that I’ve been blessed with my new creative projects. I appreciate your support of this blog and everyday I say to myself that I’m such a lucky girl to have such great readers. I’m thankful in every way for my life. I was in NYC for a week of work and here some photos that I would like to share. Have a great weekend everyone!! xo Nini
Work outfit – Top shop skirt ( similar ), Zara blouse, Christian Louboutin Lady Daf,Top shop cat eyed sunglasses, Hermes CDC cuff, and Celine bag ( great option )
Loc and I attended the Art Ball kick off party last night and this was my outfit. Nowadays, leather leggings and a great white blouse is all you need. I can just live in this outfit because it’s so comfortable to move around. xo Nini
We all have busy days and you can’t take all your outfits with you so I’m always looking for a ‘uniform’ outfit. The criteria for the outfit is simple: it needs to be just as appropriate for a morning coffee meeting as it is for a dinner meeting followed by drinks. Transition is the key word!
I love throwing on a pair of great fitting of jeans, a cool graphic T-shirt, then adding a fun blazer and heels for an outfit that works as hard as I do. This is my go-to look, especially for a tough day of styling or out to dinner to working with clients. This look is just comfortable for moving around but still chic enough for low-key events.
I have to share my latest little shopping secret with you. Zara makes the best jeans on the planet. I would recommend getting them tight because they’ve got a little give. This camouflage pair is my favorite. For those that are wondering how I do my hair, here it is in a nutshell: I use a flat iron to curl it against my face and hair spray for hold. Then I use my fingers to run through the curls once or twice for volume. Have a nice day everyone! xo Nini
Get The Look: Zara camouflage jeans ( available in store – but similar here ) Balenciaga t’s ( great option here ) Vanessa Bruno jacket ( great option here ) Charlotte Olympia kitty wedges
Fall is here! As I’ve written about many times, I like to buy a couple of statement pieces every season and add them to a permanent collection. Each season I update with a small amount of basics while keeping the bulk of my budget for vintage or high-end purchases. After many years of arranging and rearranging my wardrobe, I’ve found that keeping your closet heavy with basics and rotating your seasonal investment pieces is the most practical way to shop if you want to get the most out of your budget.
I wanted to share the key items that I’ll be shopping for this season with you guys! The top three items I recommend for this fall are: a great black blazer, a few of basic graphic t’s and a great fitting mini leather skirt.
A great blazer. There is no better item for transitioning from morning all the way past dinner and into an evening cocktail. It’s awesome for when you are traveling and don’t have the space for too many items. You can always just wear black jeans, a simple Vince white T-shirt and then throw on a great long black blazer.
A great graphic t’s. This is a great piece to wear with a simple skirt and heels for an evening out.
A great mini leather skirt. This is not just is a must have for Fall, this is just a MUST have. It just makes your wardrobe better and better because a skirt on the plainer side that fits well can go well with most of your tops.
Since we’re in the middle of the Fall season, I don’t know what else is going to go on my list but I’ll be updating my list so check back! Thanks for reading! xo Nini
