Hope you all are well. I picked up this Margiela suede jacket for H&M a while back just now have a chance to style it. The weather in Dallas has warm up a little and that give me more chances to take photos for the blog.
I love that black is so strong for Fall this year. I saw a ton of monochrome outfits on the runways this season and a common theme seemed to be all black outfits topped with sleeveless or cropped-sleeve outerwear.The color itself stands for power, mysteriousness and sensuality. Also, besides the psychological connotations of the color, there are also the visual effects. An all black outfit can be really chic…not to mention it is the best color to make you look thinner and taller.
A couple years ago, the stovepipe skinny pant was all the rage. Last year, a pair leather skinny jeans was Fall’s number one must-have item. This year, a large handful of designers are offering half leather and half jean leggings or stovepipe pants. I really like the combo…not just the way it looks but also the price! I love that designers are mixing denim and leather. I think it’s great because the price is half of what a pair of leather leggings cost and you can achieve the same look.
