Hello everyone! I’ve been working on producing more pieces and I’m so excited to announce that the Nini Circle Dress is now available in hot pink. This is the dress that I donated to the Art Ball this year at the Dallas Museum of Art. It was an honor to participate in the auction because the cause is so near and dear to my heart. The dress (it included my styling service) raised $3,200 at the auction. I was so happy to able to give back to the community that has been such a large part of my life and my career in many ways. This dress is now available for purchase and takes two weeks from order to delivery. It is absolutely fabulous and I promise you, you will enjoy this dress. Feel free to send me an email if you have any questions nini@ninistyle.com. Happy Sunday everyone! xo Nini
Hi everyone- Hope you are all enjoying your summer while it lasts. Before you know it we’ll be in Fall! I love to buy a piece that I can wear over and over again and come up with different ideas each time I wear it. Those pieces always end up being worth every cent and lasting for season after season.
This Rick Owens long silk skirt is definitely one of those kinds of pieces. It is lovely and slimming but doesn’t get stuck in one category: I can transform it from a cocktail dinner outfit to one I wear for a casual lunch.
Today, I’m wearing this silky skirt pared down with a super simple tee and it’s a perfect combo for a casual dinner or lunch. I love to take something fancy from my closet and pair it with the simplest item to make it more casual and wearable. Thanks for reading everyone and have a wonderful day! Xo Nini
Hope you are all well. The home improvement project is finally done. Whewwwww!! I wear my cut-off shorts all the time but this is only the 2nd time that I took photos of them for the blog. I like to wear them for running errands and for going out to grab a burger with Loc on a Friday night. I normally style it w/ a loose white T or with a shirt that buttons down and usually tuck the top in. The outfit has a grunge feel to it but remains polished based on the top and the accessories you add. Thanks for reading everyone and have a fantastic day! xo Nini
I hope you are all doing well. This week has been chaotic because we’re so busy with our home improvement project. We’re in the process of redecorating the house, putting flowers in my atrium and into the back yard. I feel like I’m constantly running back and forth between Home Depot and home. But on the bright side, the project is coming together really well and I can’t wait to share photos when it is all finished.
Since I’ve been so busy, I’ve been keeping it basic in terms of outfits. I’m wearing my all time favorite black skinny jeans. I love them because they’ve got the perfect amount of stretch but also have enough structure to create a great shape. And they hold up pretty well against wear-and-tear so I can rely on them during my busy times. This is the ‘it’ jean that I suggest to all my clients. It’s just a great basic to have so I’m always stocked up with a few pairs. Enjoy your Sunday and thanks for reading my blog xoxo Nini
Wore this outfit to lunch and then again to work a few times. I’m really into wearing jeans with everything right now. I love to roll them up about two small folds at the hem so that they stop just a tap above the ankle. It’s just more casual and if you wear a shoe with an ankle-strap, the rolled up pants will display the shoes better.
I live in my Madewell shirts. I bought them a size bigger so I can have the saggy boyfriend effect. Sometimes bigger shirts look better with skinny jeans. I pair it down with a pair of floral jeans from Free People. These are super comfortable. This look is really casual for days full of errands, meetings and a long to-do list. But even a casual look needs a touch of glamour so I add a dressier shoes to complete the look. Have a fantastic weekend everyone and thanks for reading xo Nini
