Lighting Test With Canon XSI
Loc just bought some background and wanted to test out his lighting. Therefore, I was the test subject
. Loc complaints about how I always bend my neck to the left all the time and said I look like a dead chicken neck
.

Wearing: Dries Van Noten dress, YSL tribute gray pumps, Fallon necklace worn as head piece
My bangs are getting so long, I need to get them trimmed soon.

Wearing: Balenciaga blouse, vintage Levis short, Lanvin shoes, vintage earrings.
NiniTips: I’ve given tips on this vintage ribbed short before. I had mentioned that when you wear your ripped shorts, wear them with something stylistically opposite. I rarely wear shorts with tanks or tees unless I’m running errands on my day off. This time, I wore them with a lilac silk blouse. Pastels can sometimes be drab on certain skin tones, so I mix them with bold accessories. I chose these vintage oversized earrings to make the lilac pop. You can also try it with a bright color lipstick or a fun necklace.
Hope you all having a wonderful day, xoxoxo Nini Nguyen
P.S: Many of you had asked about what camera Loc is using, he’s using a Canon XSI with a EF-S 17-55mm.

Dead chicken neck..how flattering..

Good morning to most sweetest test object ever

Wowo, these pictures are so AWESOME! Loc is getting better and better and better and better and better and….. And you know what?! It’s so much pleasure watching this development through following your blog! Two thumbs up!
YAY! You’re wearing the fringy haircut Lanvin heels again! I love them, they look so stunning on you! Your Dries van Noten Dress is PERFECTION!
GREAT GREAT GREAT!! The first picture is my favorite – it’s a star pic for autograph cards….
I’m wishing you and Loc a wonderful Thursday, darling!
much love always, sofie
What amazing pics! LOVE the 2nd one, and that DVN dress is just divine (totally agree with Modediktat)! Wish I could see it more often
Wow, where did Loc set these up? Looks like a photographic studio!
xx
ahh!! u lukin gorgeous and amazing! be a part of facehunter contest!!
You are so beautiful, and I love your Lanvin shoes!
I love that tip. The contrast makes the shorts look less casual and more dressy! =)
Oooooh AND What a “GLAMorous chicken neck” Nini !!!
I really like these Black § White pictures Majesty, their timelessness aura that electrifyies your “contemporary Urban Goddess” prestance (ps: Pfffffffff the peep-toe cleavage of your YSL tribute = Frankly What a “Fetishistical Bewitchment”) . . . AND the cocktail “Destroy CHIC-issimes” shorts / polished toes, combined with the way your blouse nonchalantly unveils a part of your bare stomach are full of understated SEXYness . . . Stunning as Always.

Gorgeous, gorgeous Balenciaga blouse & I love the first photo, it’s so edgy!

Photos look lovely, and those gooy Lanvin sandals do make me smile. Such fun.
that silk blouse is beautiful
Love the 2nd photo best. Your dress drapes so well…the shoes are a dream…and your pose is beautiful!
Wow! These photos are gorgeous!
here is a tip for you nini – try to look natural for once. you always try too hard to look like a model (which you aren’t) all those awkward poses and faces are not good to look at. also, those shorts don’t fit you – they are too baggy.
Love the first pic Nini!
Hmmm do I smell jealousy in the air?=p Your poses are perfect! And I agree with your tip about pairing cutoffs with something dressier.. I would probably wear cut-offs with structured tops or tops with volume/draping to glam it up a little bit.. your Balenciaga blouse is so beautiful and those tribute pumps are always a sight to behold!
I absolutely adore your Lanvin shoes… The lighting looks great, btw!
hi nini!
thanks for asking.
everything is fine with us here.
one thing, i can’t glue myself on my laptop.
wheew! mr. freddy’s getting restless and at this age
he explores so much so i’ve to keep an eye for him.

wearing purple gives a more refreshing look on you.
btw, did Loc study photography?
he’s really good!
WOW! these are magnificent shots! i think you just know your best angles that’s why you bend your neck to the left.
I think these photos are beautiful. I also think that if people have a problem with the way Nini poses then they shouldn’t come to her blog:)
Wow, you look so stunning on those pics ! And I swear, your neck is nice !

gorgeous as usual!
ps: Mmmh Dear Nini, just in case I think that the “Urban feline” ’s definition from my last “stilettostetico-esque” post perfectly illustrates your “GLAMorous Soul” . . . YES, I LOVE the delicate art of “GLAM Conceptualization” !!!
Hope you’re Well.

These are amazing pictures!! The first on is definitely my favorite.
I need a camera like this! Hahaha mine isn’t too good at all…D=
That second picture reminds me of Irving Penn’s work! His lighting and his subject. And yes, that is absolutely a great thing! Tell Loc to keep up the awesome work and you keep turning your neck to the left, you look great!
