Sneak Peek Calendar Project For 2010 With Alex Tran
Hi guys! How is everyone doing? I’m sorry for my absence for the last few days. I was working on a calendar project for 2010 with Alex Tran, Miss Vietnam Global 2009. Alex is such a kind, fun, elegant, and beautiful person to work with. We get along really well and she has such a great sense of humor. I love this girl! The calendar will be sold for
donations and all the money will be going to several different charities. Loc and I are very honored to be a part of this project. This is the third time that I am directing the shoot and styling at the same time. I really enjoyed it and look forward to many more opportunities to come because as you know that is my dream job 
The theme I came up with for the shoot was about old Hollywood glamour with a twist: modern and futuristic. Since Alex and I are the same size I used my clothes and made some use some of the things I took out on approval for her (that even included a special gown from Naeem Khan!!!) She looked fabulous! Loc did such a wonderful job with the photography. All the photos are stunning. I will post all the photos to share with you guys when they are released to the public at the end of this year for Chinese New Year. My friend, Susie Straubmueller, was extremely gracious to let us use her home for a location. She is a fantastic handbag designer in Dallas. Check out her latest collection on her website. Naeem Khan team was so generous and kind to send me one of his gowns for the shoot. Thank you, thank you so much! Without the help of a great team and such generous people my task would not be completed.

Wooow Alex Tran is Truly Gorgeous, AND her sparkling Sexyness confers such a Refreshing soul to this “Nini-esque Retro/Futuristic Femme Fatale” inspiration . . . Wide back cleavage, long leather gloves, metallic swimsuit with “GLAMazon-esque” shoulders AND your RED alligator belt = Woooooow Woooooow Wooooooooooow !!!!

It looks like a great shoot & that you & Loc did a brilliant job, and had fun. It’s funny, I just did my first fashion shoot a few weeks ago, and that was the same theme (old fashioned Hollywood glamour, with a twist).
