You’re becoming my must-go site for everyday inspiration. I am so envious that it’s warm enough where you are that you can wear that. It’s FREEEEZZZING in NYC. I hate it. I’m dreaming of warm weather…Sigh.

  31. January 12th, 2009 at 19:26 | #31

Thunbelina Fashionista – Thank you so much… Where do you live in NYC? Hanh and I going NYC the end of March.

  32. January 12th, 2009 at 19:56 | #32

Nini, I adore the new banner! Y’all look so fierce! Can you please tell me what you and Hanh are wearing in the banner? Thanks! Oh and your Givenchys look very comfortable. Spectacular deal!

    Nini,

You and Hanh look great on the banner ad picture. I love the dress you had on in that picture. Hanh looks great in her shades, young, stylish and tres chic!!!! Way to start 2009.

  42. January 13th, 2009 at 15:56 | #42

  43. January 13th, 2009 at 17:19 | #43

lovely outfit, that bag is just gorgeous!! i adore givenchy

and i hadn’t noticed it yet.. but the banner is indeed gorgeous

  44. January 13th, 2009 at 19:05 | #44

I love your marni top! also, everything the two of you are wearing the banner, but that’s a given

  45. January 18th, 2009 at 01:44 | #45

You are working the hell out of this outfit!!
I love this! Kinda reminds me of the look I plan to have for my birthday. My dress is ALSO black, and my shoes are two tone satin and patent leather.
I am in love with those gloves. Unfortunately, I don’t see them on Intermix anymore. :(
I was wondering if stockings would look good with peep toe heels, but you answered my question for me. :-)

  46. January 18th, 2009 at 12:18 | #46

    Inga,

Thank you so much for your lovely comment, If your shoes is slingback I wouldn’t do stocking, but if it’s a pump you can do stockings, and it’s really depends on the fabric of your dress. If you like you can take a picture of your dress and shoes and send it to my email.

love these outfits. very simple but soo chic. i especially like the first one.

    February 19th, 2009 at 13:30 | #48

I love the Olsen style. and Victoria Beckham look great when she not posing for the camera.

  49. February 19th, 2009 at 15:16 | #49

there is always beauty in simplicity…
    The Olsens are always impeccable!
…Victoria’s outfit will look SO much better on one of the Olsens. Because of her disproportionate implants for her body, this top looks slutty on her.

  50. February 19th, 2009 at 17:40 | #50

cool and casual with killer heels. I love this look too.

    Hi Nini!

Cool blog! You are so fashionable! Love reading your blog! I am just curious, what do you do for a living? I’ve been to Dallas once. Loved it!

  53. February 19th, 2009 at 18:56 | #53

victoria beckham circa 2003 (when she was a long haired brunette and an “ambassador” for dolce & gabbana, was and still is hugely inspirational to me.
i may not neccessarily like everything she wears, but i like her outfits when she is being casual or with her kids, but i think her red carpet looks are a bit off.

i really like ashley olsen’s overall style, and i think MK has covetable pieces.

  54. February 19th, 2009 at 20:14 | #54

Classic! I have to say that I’m really loving the Olsens’ two lines, The Row and Elizabeth and James. They’re really coming out with great stuff.

On a side note, you’ve inspired me to post some pics of my outfits! Let me know what you think…

  55. February 19th, 2009 at 21:13 | #55

    I love MK and Ashley.

  56. February 20th, 2009 at 00:22 | #56

    Nini,

I’ve seen the skirt before on the rack, and it didn’t look appealing, but it looks amazing on you.

Thanks so much for the award Nini! I really appreciate it. As for the JPG top, it looks fantastic! I love how the Givenchys match your top perfectly. $78 from $785 is too good!! Isn’t it fun finding treasures at Neiman’s Last Call?? I wish I had more than one in Houston. The last two times I visted Dallas, my friend took me to the one at Grape Vine and Allen’s Outlet area. Such great deals to be had! :) I’m hoping during Spring Break I can find a way to visit Dallas or Austin for Last Call.

  88. March 3rd, 2009 at 16:04 | #88

Nini, thank you so much for the award! It’s amazing that I haven’t even met you but I feel like I sorta know you. This outfit is amazing as always. I’m cautious with nude, since I think it makes me look washed out, but I think the way you did it worked so well–a pop of black looks great.

  92. March 3rd, 2009 at 17:51 | #92
