Hi everyone !!!

This is what I wore out to lunch with Loc today.  After wards, we did some candid shots at the West Village.

Lately, I have been wearing red nail polish with everything. It’s called Ruby Ruby by SinfulColors and you can find it at any drugstore. I’m not a huge fan of red but this shade of nail polish is a beautiful red that compliments my skin really well. If you wear a lot of black like me, red nails polish is fun and glamorous to wear. Of course there are dangers to wearing red: make sure to keep it classic by having natural nails rather than acrylic nails and keep them  short. That way, the splash of color adds that extra touch without going overboard.

I’m really into lace and vintage corsets right now.  I’m also looking for a lace long-sleeved turtleneck leotard to wear with everything in my closet. I love lace but it has to be styled in a classic and clean way.  Have a lovely day to everyone !!! xoxo Nini

Paparazzi style shots! Love them :) I’m obsessing over lace lately, too. Red nails and a glam all black outfit = tres luxe. I can never get enough of those YSL shoes either. At first I did a double take and thought you might be in the West Village NYC! Oops! Have a great weekend! xx

    hi nini.
i just got back from blogging again
    after being absent for awhile.

i love that lace shirt on you and those funky rings
    are so cute.

about fingernails, i couldn’t grow my finger nails long.
i don’t feel comfortable having long nails.
    i prefer short fingernails.

have a good afternoon to you and to Loc.

Aren’t candid shots supposed to be were supposed to be natural and not posed and in every shot, you look like you’re posing. I’m not trying to be malicious, I’m just starting to wonder about fashion blogging these days. It seems more and more to me and my colleagues that with the advent of “fashion blogger power” more bloggers are dressing up for the camera. I thought this (and not you specific) was about celebrating the individual styles of every day people. But don’t you think having professional photographs, wearing on the most eye-catching and top designers and posing basically negates that or makes it disingenuous?

  41. November 15th, 2009 at 17:39 | #41

i’m in loove with your style 😉

  42. November 15th, 2009 at 18:56 | #42
