Be Inspired !!

January 6th, 2010

Hi everyone-

I hope the New Year brought you all the happiness and everything that you have deserved.  As you all know that Loc and I are getting marry soon.  I’m working with a brilliant fashion designer based in Dallas to help me with my gown. It’s long sleeves with thumb holes, deep backless with  raw edges around the neckline, and all over the back. It’s stunning and I can’t wait to share with you all the final product. Have a beautiful day and I’ll keep you all posted on the wedding project. xoxo Nini Nguyen

Haha, I am now inspired to wear nothing under a wedding dress and pair that with thigh-high boots! No, seriously, this is great. It’s easy, flowy and chic.

Congrads, many of my family members are getting married as well and bride shows really help. Best designer is definitely Vera Wang, her bridal dresses are very inspiring. I also would like to say that your fiance takes AMAZING pictures. I am getting into photography myself and the pictures that he takes of you are so inspiring, I would like it if he gave a tip or two on his photography whenever he takes pictures of you, that would be really cool. FYI your style is gorge.

  23. January 6th, 2010 at 15:57 | #23

wow, having your wedding dress designed just for you! way back when i got married, i designed the dress & a seamstress (my friend’s mom) made it. it was so much fun to go to all the fittings. me: “make the train longer please”…”ok, it’s still not quite long enough.” the train was bigger than me- what was i thinking?! well, it was the 80s, so….’nuff said!) i did all the hand-sewing (lace and beading) myself. oh, the work! you are so smart to go w/ a designer who surely won’t make you do any of that!
congratulations and enjoy the process of having your wedding dress custom made!

Hi sweet Nini! Happy happy New Year – I thought you might have been away – & came here to say hi. I didn’t realise you’re getting married soon, so excited for you! The dress sounds gorgeous, I especially love the idea of long sleeves with ‘thumb holes’ – I think I know what you mean – really really long, and the thumb sticks thru. Sounds divine.

Now, here’s the question: in addition to the wedding photographer, will Loc be taking photos of you in the dress? ; ) Hey! Do you know Leah? She’s a wedding photographer in Manila, maybe she could hop over to Texas… isn’t 2010 a wonderful year so far? What a great year to be married in, all your anniversaries will be easy to remember. xox

  33. January 7th, 2010 at 22:52 | #33

I just wanted to add, I can so see you in the wedding dress at the very bottom left corner, the white with the black tulle at the top.
