2 Yards Of Silk = Nini’s Style Dress

July 26th, 2010

This is something that I thrown up at the very last minute to meet up with our friends for dinner and cocktails. I tried many things but was not happy with the look that I tried to achieve.

I started playing with this piece of nude silk fabrics that I bought for one of my projects. I draped it on my body and I really like how it turned out. It was perfect! I want something drapery, elegant, and has an edge and this piece was perfect for the occasion.

I got tons of compliments, people were asking who made my dress and I told them that all it takes:

*2 yards of nice silk fabrics

*Drape it on your body asymmetrical, and tie a knot on the back

*Secure it with a nice belt.

If you have any questions feel free to ask:-D Have a fabulous day everyone!! XoxoNini

Wearing it with: Rick Owens tank, vintage necklace and alligator clutch, Current/Elliot black jeans, Fendi Pony hair booties.

With Alex Tran and Khanh

Love the dress! You are so creative Nini! Not sure if I’m loving the pants. I think tights would have given a more smooth line, but for a spur of the moment outfit, this is genius!
