BEE MINDFULLNESS LATTE

I’m a huge fan of matcha and have been drinking it for years. I’ve written before about how matcha is a great way to get a caffeine boost without the jitters of coffee. Matcha is better enjoyed when warm, but you always can add ice if you are on the run. Lately I’ve been adding bee pollen to my daily matcha routine and loving the taste of it.
You can add bee pollen into protein shakes or oatmeal. Not everyone knows that bee pollen has absolutely incredible health benefits. Bee pollen is rich in vitamins, minerals, protein and full of fatty acids. It has powerful antibacterial properties and helps reduce inflammation. Because the bees are exposed to so many plants at once, bee pollen helps people get rid of allergies and it stimulates the immune system in a completely natural way.
I incorporate bee pollen into my latte and I make several different kinds for different times of the day. I wanted to share one of the recipes with you all. Here is the BEE MINDFULNESS Latte recipe. I hope you guys will enjoy it as much as I do.
2 teaspoons of sunflower seeds
1/2 teaspoon of honey (I love Sage Honey Pacifica)
1 teaspoon of matcha
1/2 teaspoon of bee pollen
1 cup of boiling water

Blend the ingredients up for one good minute and enjoy! This drink is full of energy and yet it keeps your mind so calm and focused. I prefer to drink this BEE MINDFULNESS latte mid-afternoon as a pick-me-up drink. But of course you can drink it first thing in the morning as well.
