Wednesday’s Outfit: Vintage Nude Slip Dress

May 12th, 2010

Wearing: vintage silk nude slip dress, and necklace, Super sunnies, YSL booties, lipstick is Chanel Coco red

The nude slip that I’m wearing is from a silk vintage dress. The dress is beautiful but it’s not something that I would normally wear. My friend and I went shopping together and found it. She decided to keep the outer piece and I kept the slip. We are happy birds :-). I have a crush on nude. I think it’s fresh and clean to wear during the Spring and Summer. For makeup, I kept my face clean and pop it with  bright red lipstick.  Have a great day everyone!! xoxo Nini

I like the pairing – patent leather with subtle nude. The length of the necklace is brilliant, it adds weight to the slip. You’re a real risk taker – awesome.

Nini I have a strange question.
I see you wear a lot of loose tops and dresses lately.
They look wonderful on you partly because there is no visible bra straps.
What kind of bra do you wear under such garments? Or do you wear some sort of nipple petals?

wow. had no idea that it was a slip! the color nude is my favorite right now, it looks so clean & fresh for Spring/Summer. If the slip were a bit more voluminous, it would look like a hanbok (traditional korean dress). I really like how you styled it – and again think outside of the box!!!
