Holiday Look: Bold Accessories

December 11th, 2011

Do you have a full schedule of holiday parties to attend? Are you stressing out about what to wear? Don’t worry because I’m here to give you my best advice! Keep checking back because for the next two weeks, I will have several posts on how to dress appropriately for your holiday parties while standing out yet looking festive and chic.

Loc and I recently attended my client’s holiday party at her home. Remember this lace Givenchy blouse that I wore with the Balenciaga leather leggings? Here I am wearing it again. Lace, satin and silk always go well together for the holidays. This time I dressed it up with a fun A-line skirt from Alaia and paired it with satin pumps. To make the black assemble pop I added bright lipstick for a contrast and bold jewelry to make it festive for the holidays! This is the time of year that you can wear all the fun,  glitzy clothes you own. Have something covered in sequins? Bring it out to play!
Be sure to check back for my tips on holiday party dressing and remember, you just don’t want to blend in. You want to stand out!

Wearing: Givenchy black lace blouse, Azzedine Alaia skirt, vintage necklace, Alexander McQueen box clutch, Fendi satin shoes

That is what I call phenomenal! Everybody is talking about a little black dress, but it can be so tricky and it can look so wrong because people don’t know how to style it! I think every single piece is perfect: tights, shoes, accessories! Simply stunning! I am looking for a blouse with sheer sleeves to wear underneath my Dior Dress, it has to have a cream color! So so hard to find
