BOX OFFICE

October 30th, 2014 6 comments

I love it when I find a good pair of high-waisted skirt that fit well on the body. I found this vintage leather skirt on Etsy, and the quality is highly made. When I find something that I absolutely love, I share. That’s what my blog is all about. When you search on Etsy, just type in ” vintage leather high-waisted skirt, or vintage leather skirt ” There will be lots of options for you to pick. Wore this out to dinner with Loc last week. ASOS turtle neck, vintage leather skirt, hot pink turban, Prada pumps ( similar ) xo Nini

A Pea In The Pod

August 1st, 2014 5 comments

When I found out that I was pregnant, I got so excited and immediately started thinking about how I was going to dress my bump!   I quickly learned that I could find maternity pieces that maintained my pre-pregnancy style and that was really worth the investment. I mixed some of the things that I already had in my closet that I still really loved and added them to my new maternity wardrobe.  I wanted to look good and feel comfortable during these precious 9 months of pregnancy. The maternity pieces I bought from A Pea in the Pod have a great fit and are really high quality.  They are well worth the investment since I wore them all the time during my pregnancy and I can even wear some of the pieces now post-pregnancy.

A Pea in the Pod was a life saver for me. It saved me a lot of time since I didn’t have to drive around to a bunch of different maternity stores as they carry a large selection of items that I love. During my pregnancy, I also found it easier to shop online and they have a large selection to choose from on their site.

Here are some of my favorite pieces!

Fitted black dress: A great fitted black dress is wonderful because you can wear it with flats during the day to a doctor visit or to work and put on a pair of kitten heels for dinner. http://www.apeainthepod.com/Product.asp?product_Id=25264Z20581&MasterCategory_Id=MC28

Camel coat: This is definitely a fall must-have because it is great for day and night and very stylish. (Note: coat will be available in stores and online in August).

Blue denim shirt: This shirt is super lightweight, comfortable and you can style it with a pair of black leggings, or jeans and with flats or heels. http://www.apeainthepod.com/Product.asp?Product_Id=162040004&MasterCategory_Id=MC1

A black motorcycle jacket: A classic to wear over black leggings, turtle neck and boots, or over a fitted black dress. It is also great for a casual night out with a pair of jeans and a cute t-shirt. http://www.apeainthepod.com/Product.asp?Product_Id=117950071&MasterCategory_Id=MC8

A pair of maternity jeans is a must. I wear mine almost everyday. You need a pair of blue and black.

KIMONO x BUMP

April 27th, 2014 9 comments

I’m wearing my favorite kimono that I got from Paris’s Puces Clignancourt flea market. You can wear kimono anytime of day, it just depends on how you style them. I wore it on a plane with pajamas blue jeans, white tank and tennis shoes and wore it again in Cabo as swimsuits cover-up.

Wearing: Jean Paul Gaultier swimsuits ( love this ), vintage kimono, vintage turban, Tom Ford Grace cat-eye sunglasses and Sue Gragg necklaces.

MTVREDEFINE – BABY BUMP COCKTAIL ATTIRE

April 7th, 2014 4 comments

On Saturday, Loc and I attended the MTV Redefine event at the Dallas Contemporary. I want to effortless and feel comfortable for the evening and this old Margiela skirt is perfect for the occasion at 26 weeks.
I’ve been on a major pearl kick lately and my new favorite way to wear pearl is really simple. For me, pearls are fun and classic yet they can look really dramatic. For this look, all you need are 12 pieces of pearl head pins. I ordered mine on Etsy, I got this set and this set. Pearl hair pins are something simple yet dramatic.

Wearing: Roland Mouret crop top ( similar ), Margiela skirt (similar here)
