PRINTS ON PRINTS

July 16th, 2012

Wearing two floral prints or a floral print over another, different print can be a little tricky. When I’m mixing these prints together, I try to concentrate on proportions. If the proportion is off, it can cut your body at an odd angle.

I love this trend because it’s festive and a great way to challenge yourself creatively. For someone who is new to wearing prints, you always can start out with a floral top paired with a pair of solid colored or denim skinny jeans, a fabulous clutch and heels for a lunch or dinner date. When you feel more comfortable with prints, try a print-on-print outfit.

To me, no outfit can be complete without a positive attitude and a strong sense of confidence. If you think you look great, you will look great. I can only give you the advice that works for me: if you don’t feel great in what you are wearing then change into something that you’ll feel more comfortable in! Fashion is all about being comfortable in your own skin and using clothes to express yourself. I always try to remember to wear my clothes and never let them wear me. Have a great Monday filled with sunshine everyone!! xo Nini

You truly are such a great example of wearing your clothes, not the vice versa. That is very admirable. It’s something I try to implement as well
    on a daily basis.
